Donate a prostheses to Yerick

¨Come grandma, look my new leg¨ said Yerick to his grandmother when he got his prosthesis in Mahavir Kmina. His grandmother was so amazed and couldn´t believe what she was seeing, Yerick walking for the very first time. 

With a little help Yerick was taking his first steps that will take him far in life. His grandma was surprised, excited and even crying out of happiness. 

Yerick´s mother suffered and infection when she was pregnant and Yerick was born with one leg shorter than the other, but this didn´t mean he wasn´t able to do all the activities that he wanted, he has always been a happy and active kid, playing around, making jokes and surprising his family.

And now, with his new leg that you gave him he is more capable of doing things in life and he is going to grow up independently. Even though at the beginning it was hard to walk with the prosthesis, after practicing, falling and trying really hard Yerick succeded and left our city with a new possibility of making a greater life. We gave him a prosthesis, the tool he needed to be complete and feel like the happiest kid on earth. 

Like Yerick we have so many kids in Colombia that still need our help, they need a prosthesis so they can go to school, play with her friends and enjoy life as they should. 

We take this chance to say thank you for your help, Yerick´s family now is in peace and happiness due to your help, now he will learn to swim and will play hide and seek with his grandma, and will always win.

We also want to invite you to spread this happiness and joy all over Colombia, and use the different opportunities you have to help us,  like this christmas, a time full of giving and love, a chance to donate in someone´s name as a proof of solidariy, sharing and loving.
