We plan to purchase 7 all in one desktop computers. We have received the quotations for these and they cost INR 26000 a piece.
This will help us prepare the STEM learning materials as audio visual interactive materials and share them with the community we serve. The shelters, hostels and schools have a television, and the staff have smart phones. Therefore they can access it through the smart phone and play it on the television. Another option is for the peer educators to interact directly with the group they are working with. For example 6 teachers at a time can work with 18 students in various locations.
The long-term impact can be measured in terms of the young people taking charge of their growth, and deciding their future. So far all our projects have continuously trained peer educators. The learners today shall become peer educators of tomorrow. They will be equipped to handle the challenges and complexity of the future problems as well.
