Over 450 needy children living in the Nakuru, Kenya can hardly wait for Christmas Day. That's when Live and Learn in Kenya Int'l will be distributing Christmas gifts of T-shirts, books for the school library with the child's name in it and food for a holiday feast for the whole family! A live chicken, maize flour, cabbages, carrots, chapati flour and some sweets will fill tummies and bring smiles to hundreds of faces! Be the reason for SMILES today. Happy Holidays from their families to yours.
The children on the Live and Learn in Kenya International NGO program come from families living in incomprehensible poverty. For lack of funds, it is literally impossible for parents/guardians to buy special food and gifts for their children.
The children on the Live and Learn in Kenya International NGO program will receive holiday gifts of a Live and Learn in Kenya T-shirt, a story or non-fiction book with their name in it for the LLK Primary School library in it - and food for his/her family that the parents/guardians will turn into a holiday feast.
The poorest of the poor also have a right to feel the special joy of the holiday season. Experiencing the joy of being cared about and not forgotten has a lasting impact on their future and their self-confidence. We want to give the children - and their families - a reason to hold their heads up high and be proud citizens of their society.
