The crisis by COVID-19 has caused insecurity, uncertainty, fear and unemployment, which has caused hundreds of donors to be forced to withdraw support for NGOs, who are being affected considerably, because they offer free services for the well-being and health of groups in vulnerable situations, without these services the users of the NGO's would be at risk. This microgrant will help to guarantee the operations of PACO and acquire resources for the prevention of COVID-19.
PACO, I.A.P. offers quality services to people in vulnerable situations. Our priority program is "Casa Hogar Moscas Ley", which serves an average of 70 children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, offering comprehensive services for the full enjoyment of the human rights of users. These children and adolescents receive food 3 times a day, due to the contingency caused by COVID-19, donations in cash and in kind that guarantee access to said food have been considerably reduced.
With the help of this mircrogrant, we will be able to purchase food for our users, in addition to purchasing products to prevent the spread of COVID-19: antibacterial gel, mouth covers, soap, gloves, sanitizing mats, disinfecting wipes.
Guarantee the continuity of comprehensive services to children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, support the sustainability of the organization to continue operating in the future.
