CHHASE is providing monthly food provisions for one year to 35 neglected, destitute elders age group between 65 to 90 years to reduce starvation among them. These elders are able to cook themselves with this provisions and have food every day. During ill-health, their neighbors will cook food and feed these older persons.Though their children & relations neglected, now with this provision they can live with dignity without starvation.
The elderly women health will not permit elders to work in the agricultural fields. The elderly Persons from Kadambathur block, 6 villages have been identified by the CHHASE for providing regular food groceries. The elderly women do not have timely food from their families and left starving. Some of them do not have children too. In view of this critical juncture,we provide monthly food groceries to 35 elderly persons for one year.
This project provide monthly groceries to one elderly person for a year, who is neglected by her sons, daughters and relations. We provide Rice, Dhal, Cooking Oil, Biscuits, Bathing Soaps, Detergent Soaps, Species, Vegetables, etc. With this monthly groceries these neglected elderly women will have food regularly by cooking themselves without depending on some one. They can live with dignity and without starvation.
CHHASE will stop starvation among destitute elderly people in Tiruvallur & Tiruvannamalai Districts of Tamil Nadu. The hamlets surrounding tirumanikuppam, Thirupandiyur and Vayalur, 32 older people get timely nutritious food and medical care. Eldery persons living conditions & life span will increase. 32 old age persons able to eat nutritious food and medicines in time without depending on others. The perception of the community on caring old age people will build positively.
