Printing of the Calligraphy Book Will Begin Soon

By Alison Hendry | Program Administrator

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards printing a book to help teach Afghans to write using calligraphy. We have now been able to raise enough to print at least 400 books. The Afghan Institute of Learning staff is hoping to print the books soon, and will report back with more information once the books have been printed. As we said in the project information, this book is an important step in preserving the art of calligraphy and an important part of Afghan culture. The staff of the Afghan Institute of Learning is excited to take this first step in sharing the art of calligraphy with more of their students, and hopefully the rest of their country.
