We wish a Christmas tree full of names, of people who share and support our cause. We want to create and ensure study opportunities for our blind children. Guaranteeing conditions and safe spaces where they feel free and capable of growing, creating and dreaming big. With your support, you encourage us and help us to keep the elementary school open.
Children with visual impairment have few opportunities to be integrated into regular schools at an early age. They require a special process to learn to write and read through Braille, preferably with a Perkins machine. Some regular schools do not have this equipment and the economic reality of families does not allow children to have the necessary tools for learning
Our school serves 77 children with visual impairment, with a comprehensive educational program that promotes the development of the person in all its dimensions, cognitive and emotional. Our curriculum includes math, Spanish, science and workshops in music, technology, art, swimming and sports. Also we accompany parents with a parenting school (disability acceptance and blind technical tools) to strengthen their children's learning at home.
We are a bridge to the social inclusion of visually impaired children and families, with the necessary technological conditions and equipment at school, our students will be great professionals, confident of their abilities as the testimony of Oscar, a bachelor's degree graduate.
