The Ugandan women you supported five years ago are testifying
Hi
Am writing to you because you have ever donated towards support of our community in rural Uganda with micro loan support to our women groups.
Thanks to your generosity, 10 groups were beneficiaries of the programme, that's over 50 Households, these groups were trained in financial management and business development, as a result all these groups were registered under the company's registration act and are now doing much better, groups also formed savings associations which has enabled them save and invest, when these groups return the money, more groups are identified and given the funds, the revolving scheme is ongoing, each year 10 groups benefit from the revolving fund, unfortunately the last two years were a hustle as people were struggling to recover from the covid19 lockdown, majority of the groups could not return the money. Those are other community groups that our project is targeting to empower so they too can be self sustainable
We are so grateful to have supporters like you making stories like these a possibility for needy communities.
Today, we embark on our Year-End Campaign. Our goal is to provide small booster grants to 500 Households that were affected by the covid19 lockdown and yet they take care of HIV infected children, we are raising $10,000 by December 31, but we can’t do it without help.
We’re reaching out to you because you’ve already demonstrated your compassion for our community. Would you be willing to make a special year-end contribution of $25, $50, or $100 to save 500 families in need?
With your support, we can impact our community in a lasting way. We have already supported over 100 Households in the communities with small grants donated by other generous donors on GlobalGiving, the supported families are now self sustainable and are able to provide for their families, we want to support more 500 by January next year to be self sustained, watch Jane's success story here
