Jake's Diapers works with 88 organizations around the world working to combat poverty. These often include kids living in circumstances risky for their wellbeing, causing issues such as malnutrition. This project allow us to continue to provide hygiene supplies, such as diapers and wipes, to the people who need them most.
Around the world, 736 million people live in extreme poverty, surviving on less than $1.90 a day. Many of these people are making choices between food and hygiene, and malnutrition is an ongoing problem for young children. Among children under 5 years of age, 45% of deaths are linked to undernutrition, according to the World Health Organization. Your help can change this.
We maintain partnerships with organizations around the world that help individuals and families struggling with these situations to obtain a clean, quality and healthy life. We provide essential hygiene products to partners, which does two things: frees up more budget to afford other basic needs and provides tools to achieve and maintain a healthy life.
We know alleviating the financial burden of basic hygiene supplies creates room for people to afford more basic needs. Providing hygiene items therefore becomes an essential tool in empowering people to live clean, healthy and active lives and makes a big difference toward the movement to end poverty. This also helps our partner organizations to maximize the impact they can make with less financial strain. Together, we make the world a better place - little by little.
