It was great watching your donations come in, thank you, you with other supporters raised $300, our goal was $1500. Although we did not reach our goal, we are grateful you helped us.
Since this project did not reach its goal, we will keep the funds untill we get other funds to top up and implement it soon.
In Uganda, 22% of children (4.4 million) live in income-poor households.
Provisional results from the 2014 population census data show that about half of the Ugandan population of 34.9 million comprises children under the age of 15 years; while 17.1 million children (more than 56%) are aged under 18 (UBOS, 2014a).
Our community alone has over 2000 children, this project would be of benefit in monitoring their wellbeing.
