This project will purchase a motor bike to be used by a project health contact person to enable him monitor child health.Visits by healthcare professionals to remote villages improve child health monitoring and overall community awareness of basic health issues. Regular health education and early detection of health issues such as malnutrition drives progress towards millennium development. Reliable transport options magnify the reach and effectiveness of existing healthcare professionals.
Healthcare delivery in rural areas clearly depends on transport.This project will solve the problems of high costs involved in hiring a motor cycle to do field monitoring of children health i the community.
The micro project will purchase a brand new small motor bike to enable a field worker visit the children in the community, our project trained 50 mothers on good feeding practices among children 0-59 months, all these need to be reached to see the progress.
A motor bike in the community will enable the staff report on the issues of child health as soon as possible, children are a focus of our intervention in the community.Availability of a motor bike use policy will enable us use the bike effectively.
