Dear Project Supporters,
According to UNICEF, "Before Ebola, nutrition was already a challenge, with 12.9 per cent of under-5 children malnourished, according to the 2014 Sierra Leone National Nutrition Survey report." ~ Caring for malnourished children in Ebola-affected Sierra Leone
Because of YOU, children at the Dream Home orphanage are well-fed with nutritious meals.
Lunch time is one of the favorite times at the Dream Home. In the photos you can see kids happily eating.
They are eating a special Sierra Leone sauce called Beans Stew. The dish includes rice, which is the staple food. The soup is made of beans, groundnut, maggie, onions, vegetable oil, pepper, and table salt.
Meals here usually include a protein item. This meal included chicken. This tasty meal was prepared by our Cooks.
The fastest eater is Geraldine, seconded by Regina. The Slowest eater is Kadiatu.
Lunch time is always a good time of fun and fellowship.
Thank you very much for providing us lunch.
YOUR continued support is much appreciated.
Best Regards,
Develop Africa team
