Aaron is an Ebola orphan who used to live at the Dream Home orphanage. He is in his third year of Junior Secondary School (JSS3). Aaron would like to be a computer engineer when he grows up. This project will provide a scholarship for Aaron covering his school-related expenses for a year. Your support will help cover his school-related and other expenses for the next academic year.
Many boys who start school drop out because their parents cannot afford to continue to pay for their education. Aaron has no family to pay for his schooling. Aaron's mother died of Ebola and his father is assumed dead after abandoning the family over 12 years ago. This project will provide a full scholarship for Aaron covering his tuition, books, school supplies, and related school expenses.
Funds from this project will help Aaron continue his education and eventually become a computer engineer - his desired future profession. Your support will help provide all he needs to be successful in school and ensure that he completes his education.
This project contributes to the achievement of UN Millennium goal - ensuring that youths will complete their education. It is an effective long-term investment to eradicating poverty and will help improve the quality of education and lives in general. Your support will help Aaron to finish school, become independent and self-sufficient. In his chosen future career as a computer scientist, he will also be contributing to national development.
