Josie recently graduated from the CEFORD Vocational training center, tailoring and gara tie dyeing department. He needs help starting his tailoring business by purchasing the necessary supplies such as a sewing machine, fabric, and other sewing supplies. Your support will make his dream a reality through a microfinance loan.
Josie comes from a disadvantaged family and does not have the collateral needed to secure a loan.
The funds raised will enable him to purchase the needed additional equipment for his tailoring business. This project will help to provide the microfinance funds that Josie needs.
Individuals and small businesses are able to move from living in deprivation to barely making enough to meeting their basic needs (living from hand to mouth) to a point where they will expand, provide employment, and contribute to national development. As more people are able to create employment for themselves and their family, there will be a drop in the overall crime rate of youths. This will result in a stronger and more self-sufficient and stable society.
