Aaron, Geraldine, and Dorcas all became orphans during the Ebola crisis. Providing them each with a new laptop or a laptop in very good condition will enable them to become even more computer proficient - a vital skill needed for success in today's technology-driven society. This laptop will be very useful to them as they work on homework - writing papers, doing research etc. This project will cover the costs of purchasing a laptop for Aaron, Geraldine, and Dorcas.
Aaron, Geraldine, and Dorcas are all orphans and do not have the ability to purchase their own laptops to help with their education. Geraldine would like to be a Lawyer, Dorcas would like to be an accountant and Aaron would like to be a computer engineer. In order to have successful careers in their chosen fields, they each need to have a laptop.
Funds from this project will be used to purchase 3 laptops, install software and ship the laptops to Sierra Leone for Aaron, Geraldine, and Dorcas.
We have proven over the years that providing access to computers and training revolutionizes the lives of youths and opens them up to new opportunities. Technology training effectively broadens their options. This is the impact that this project will achieve in Aaron, Geraldine and Dorcas's life - providing computer proficiency - a crucial key for success in today's technology-dependent society.
