Muwakhat Foundation was caring and helping 50 COVID affected poor families since March 2019 during the pandemic. Muwakhat Foundation gave these families safety tool kits, protein meal boxes, fresh cooked food, hand washing awareness, Ramazan grocery packages, Iftar meal boxes, grand Iftar dinner and Eid clothes. Now, Muwakhat Foundation will help these families start their own small business (fruit and vegetable carts) so they can get back to earning and get a sustainable flow of income.
This project will help 50 COVID affected poor families to get out of temporary poverty and get back on their feet. Many bread earners of these families lost their jobs due to the pandemic. Now, after one long year of helping them in several different ways, Muwakhat Foundation wants to help these families get back on their feet and start earning money sustainably.
Muwakhat Foundation will help these 50 COVID affected families start their small businesses. Muwakhat Foundation will provide them with fruit and vegetable carts. This will provide an ongoing monthly income for them. They will be able to buy fruits and vegetables directly from the farmer market and sell it themselves. This is a common way of earning money in Pakistan. Muwakhat Foundation will provide these families carts to kick start their business.
This project will bring 50 COVID affected families out of the pandemic crisis. This will provide for their families' well-being and health in the long term. These 50 COVID affected families will break the cycle of depression and start a sustainable job. Muwakhat Foundation aims to help them earn sustainably from this small business program.
