This project will provide a year of nutritious food for 13 year old Manoucheka. Manoucheka was left at the HTDC orphanage with her younger brother after the earthquake killed her father. She loves fashion and says that if she had extra income, she would spend it on high-heels! When she grows up Manoucheka would like to be a nurse. Today, Manoucheka's future is bright, but without nutritious meals to keep her growing, Manoucheka won't be able to reach her dreams.
As an orphan, Manoucheka is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for her basic needs. That means that, without your help, Manoucheka may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.
