This micro project will change the destiny of a 12 year girl child who lost her father. Your support will ensure quality education to the girl. Every child is entitled to a safe childhood. Education is a basic human right, vital to personal & societal development and well-being. The girl will grow into an empowered woman and make sure her family members break out of poverty and ignorance. The project will provide her food, education, clothing, health-care, books, stationery etc.
The girl child belongs to a single mother. Her father deserted her when she was born. Her mother is working on daily wages in vulnerable conditions - tobacco industry, construction sites etc. Without your support, this girl child will end up as child labor or trafficked by anti-social elements. With this unique micro project, this girl child is protected and her future is secured. Rehabilitating this child will ensure that she never goes through the vicious cycles of poverty and ignorance.
This project solves the problem by giving providing comprehensive care and quality education, shoes, school bags, uniforms, lunch box, test papers, required material to study well. It will ensure regular attendance in the school instead of going to work as child labor. Girl children are vulnerable to early marriages or trafficking. This project helps girl child to pursue her dreams and grow up into an empowered citizen.
Each day, we keep getting requests for admission of children who lost their parents in tragic situations. This project provides long-term support 250 children allowing them to break out of illiteracy and poverty. It project brings improvement of children's health, awareness of their rights and makes them more employable in the long run.
