Your donation recently contributed to two families securing safety in a hotel while fleeing violence.
Lisa was fleeing her abuser in Iceland with her son Scott. We successfully got them out of Iceland to the USA where they had to stay in a hotel overnight before taking a train to Lisa's parents house in another state. Here is part of an email from Lisa. "You made this experience so much more tolerable and comfortable.Being able to take a shower and sleep and not spend the night in the airport or the bus station with Kita was such a blessing. Thank you."
Morgan fled her abuser in Egypt. We were able to get Morgan into a hotel for two nights until a shelter bed became avalable. Here is what Moran told us. "I landed with nothing except some clothes I stuffed in a backpack. You saved me in so many ways."
We want to thank you for helping Lisa & Morgan!
We also wanted you to know that we have changed the name of the organization to Pathways To Safety International. We feel the new name better reflects the work we do to help American victims of interpersonal and gender based violence abroad.
