Challenge

When battered mothers flee an abusive home with their children they need a safe place to stay while one of our case managers helps them get airline tickets home. Getting into a shelter in a foreign country on a moments notice is nearly impossible.

Solution

This project will provide 20 battered mothers fleeing violence with their children one night in a hotel and food to assist in their escape in 2018.

Long-Term Impact

The project serves 500 women per year empowering them to find alternatives to a life of violence so their children grow up in violence free homes with their self-esteem in tact with the hope of stopping the cycle of violence in future generations.
