It's clear that in today's world you can't survive without connections. Through your generous support, undergraduate student had an opportunity to experience networking with professionals in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and forge pathways toward better careers. Undergraduate engagement in the professional setting like a conference is critical to a students’ professional development. With your support, Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) students attended the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans int the Sciences (SACNAS) National Conference in October 2012, and will have another opportunity to deeply engage in a netoworking event in 2013.
