Kids in Waushara County, a rural area, are struggling to adapt to life in times of covid-19. Families are struggling to make ends meet, and affording Christmas gifts is not an option. This project will provide new toys to struggling kids, giving them a sense of hope and dignity. Together, we can give over 500 kids living in poverty a Waushara Hometown Christmas.
Kids living in poverty are struggling with the devastation of covid-19. Families already teetering on the edge of poverty have now lost jobs and are struggling to care for their kids.
Providing gifts for 500 kids will provide a sense of hope, joy & dignity.
By collaborating with local agencies who are working on breaking the cycle of poverty, the long term impact of solving the basic need of diapers has a positive socio-economic impact in our community.
