As planned Transforming Community for Social Change and the Cheybuk Peace Center held the Children's Christmas Celebration on December 24. While the plan was to have 600 children attend, about 900 showed up. The TCSC faciliators and people from the Peace Center who had trained in TCSC programs staffed the celebration. There were games, food, school supplies, and sanitary napkins for the girls who needed it. It was a very exciting, lively, overwhelming day for celebration.
This is the third year TCSC and the Peace Center has conducted the Children's Christmas Celebration and we plan on doing this again in December 2019.
