Recently, we have finalised the design work of the latest children's reading book, entitled "Community adaptability to loss occasioned by wildlife." This book tells stories about daily experiences of community ambassadors in areas were chimpanzee trust operates, especially in the Northern Albertine Rift region of Uganda. Community ambassadors are youth selected by their communities to work closely with the Chimpanzee Trust. Their work includes creating awareness about good conservation practices, monitoring of privately owned forest, establishing trails in forests , doing mammal surveys and chimpanzee nest counts, laying of camera traps to mention a few.
In this story book they concentrate on experiences on human wildlife conflict.
