Thanks so much for supporting evacuees like Rizza.
Seventeen year old Rizza lives with her single mom and two sisters in Banaba, just outside Manila. Rizza’s home is poorly constructed and is dangerously close to a river. Every year there are typhoons and floods, and Rizza’s house is often inundated.
As a result, Rizza lives in constant danger and fear, for herself and her family. They all desperately needs their nearest evacuation center to be finished so that they have somewhere safe to go when the worst inevitably happens again.
And now, because of your generosity, we’ll be able to continue work on Rizza’s evacuation center. The upper two floors of the building need finishing, and this will take time, but work can now continue and this will have an immediate impact protecting Rizza from floods and typhoons.
Thank you so much for making this amazing impact possible.
We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing the lives of Rizza, her family, and families like theirs right here on GlobalGiving. Should you ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Andy@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!
One last time, thanks so much for ensuring that Rizza will have a safe refuge when she next needs it most.
