This project enables 230 kids infected with HIV and those from affected families to celebrate Christmas together.This party will surprise and delight them providing a fun and interactive experience never seen before, they will have a special lunch and some gifts (lollies,tooth brush and toys) , this will enable them have a wonderful time of Christmas celebration, face painting, share gifts, tell stories and have a wonderful play and relaxation time.
Majority of these children do not celebrate Christmas because of lack of financial support, in some instances suicide attempts have been reported among children who have lost parents to HIV due to stress, this event in one way will be used to provide psycho social support to reduce stress and trauma they might be facing
The project will provide a special meal for kids and some gifts, lots of games provided by father Christmas will be available to entertain the little angels
This exposure will enable kids relax, share gifts, share their experiences, and tell stories in a wonderful new environment outside home for one day with the house mothers. Everything we do for these kids now will never be erased from their memories forever, they will tell it and memorize this forever.
Every microproject is intended to use the donations it receives in accordance with its stated description; however, it is important to provide project leaders with the flexibility to maximize the potential benefit from the donations they receive.
