The Dream Home children (Ebola orphans - 22 total) urgently need a bus to take them to school, field trips and any other necessary travel for their ongoing needs. Currently we have to rent a bus when we take the kids as a group anywhere. On a regular basis, when going anywhere, we have to break up into inconvenient and hard-to-manage small groups - using public transportation. This project will change this and make travel easier by providing a bus for the Dream Home children.
Travel with kids can be a hassle. Imagine travelling with 22 kids! In order for the Dream Home children to travel anywhere as a group, a bus must be rented. The involved costs and logistics have limited our group activities. We are planning to move to a new home that might not be as close to their schools - making a bus absolutely essential for safe and quick travel.
This project will raise the necessary funds to assist in the purchase of a 25-30 seat bus for the Dream Home. This will make travel so much easier and safer - enabling us to experience additional and richer extra-curricular activities together - such as going on field trips etc.
This project will enable access to enriching extra-curricular and learning activities. It will enhance the quality of life of the kids. Our own bus will quick and safe transportation. The project offers tremendous benefits in terms of being able to help deserving children grow and mature into model adults that will impact their communities and nation - and even the world.
