So when its founder Kibra listened to feedback from her key constituents, she was concerned. Patients said caregivers were negligent. Caregivers said patients were disobeying their medical instructions. \u201cThis started to create a widening gap in understanding between the two groups,\u201d Kibra said.<\/p>\n<h5>Act<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nTo address the issue, Kibra launched a quarterly patient-caregiver forum. Through the forum, the two groups meet face-to-face to discuss ways to improve their relationship. Experts give presentations on medical best practices and role players demonstrate healthy patient-caregiver relationships. <\/p>\n<h5>Learn<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nIn addition to quarterly forums, Kibra is now committed to identifying other opportunities for patients and caregivers to have guided discussions.
