Each year, it happens right after Thanksgiving. Every year, GivingTuesday gets bigger and bigger! Last year, GlobalGiving project partners raised over $2 million for amazing projects around the world.<\/p>\n<h4>Q: When does GivingTuesday happen this year?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> Mark your calendar for Dec. 3, 2019.<\/p>\n<h4>Q: Why should companies get involved in GivingTuesday?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> Studies show philanthropy is good for your community and your bottom line. For example, bank employees who were given $50 to donate to a charity <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/2013\/sep\/19\/news\/la-sn-bonuses-charity-20130919\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">were happier and more satisfied<\/a> with their jobs as compared to employees who did not donate. And consumers are willing to pay more for a product if it&#8217;s from a company with a commitment to social values, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nielsen.com\/us\/en\/insights\/reports\/2015\/the-sustainability-imperative.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this Nielsen study<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Q: How can GlobalGiving help my company or foundation get involved in GivingTuesday?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> It&#8217;s easy!
