The freedom and fairness score is from the “Varieties of Democracy Project<\/a>” in partnership with Our World in Data Index. The project assesses election violence, government intimidation, fraud, large irregularities, and vote buying to assign a score from 0 to 1, with 1 being most free and fair.<\/p>\n
