The September 2022 Little by Little Campaign is a five-day crowdfunding campaign taking place from Sept. 12-16 and designed to help GlobalGiving partners around the world cultivate a robust network of small-dollar donors. All eligible donations up to $50 per unique donor per organization will be matched at 50% during the campaign, and funds will not run out!

Eligibility

All Partner, Leader, and Superstar organizations, with the exception of Indian-banked organizations, are eligible to participate in the campaign. Emerging organizations and GlobalGiving-sponsored projects and Funds are ineligible to participate in this campaign.

All active projects and microprojects associated with eligible organizations will be automatically included on the campaign leaderboard (no opt-in required).

The deadline to submit a new project or microproject for inclusion in this campaign was September 7, 2022.

What is Little by Little?

Little by Little is a five-day matching campaign designed to help GlobalGiving partners around the world cultivate a robust network of small-dollar donors. All eligible donations (up to $50) received during the duration of the campaign will be matched at 50%.

Who can participate in the September 2022 Little by Little campaign?

The Little by Little campaign is exclusively for GlobalGiving Partners, Leaders, and Superstars banked outside of India.

How do I join the campaign?

All associated active projects and microprojects will be automatically included, so you don't need to do anything to register! The deadline to submit a project for inclusion in this campaign is Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

What happens if a donor gives more than $50?

Eligible donations over $50 will receive the maximum $25 match.

What happens if a donor starts a new monthly donation during the Little by Little campaign?

Eligible donations up to $50 will receive a 50% as well as eligible donations up to $200 will receive a one-time 100% match as long as they stay recurring for four total months.

What happens if a donor gives too early or too late?

Donations made outside of the campaign will not be matched and GlobalGiving cannot change the time, date, or status of a donation after it is processed. Be sure to pay attention to the start and end times in the Terms + Conditions!

What donation methods are eligible for this campaign?

Online donations (credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and individually purchased GlobalGiving gift cards) and mobile donations through M-Changa will count towards your total raised during the Little by Little week. Ineligible donations include cash, check, corporate gift card redemptions, CAF check, CAF Online, wire transfers, text-to-give donations, donations made via JustGiving, donations made on a GlobalGiving corporate or organizational giving site, or donations made directly to an organization rather than a project.

When will matching funds from the Little by Little campaign be sent in our disbursement?

The matching funds you receive from the Little by Little campaign will be sent in the following month’s disbursement, so for the September campaign, they will be sent in your October disbursement.
