Welcome to the 2020 Giving Season Accelerator! The Accelerator is GlobalGiving’s onboarding program for nonprofits interested in joining the GlobalGiving community as permanent partners.
The Accelerator experience includes being vetted by GlobalGiving, participating in a free week of virtual fundraising training, submitting your project page on the GlobalGiving platform, and fundraising in a three-week crowdfunding campaign.
To graduate from the Accelerator and become a permanent GlobalGiving partner, your organization needs to raise at least $5,000 from 40 unique donors during the campaign. The power is in your crowd which means that while GlobalGiving provides you with the training and tools to succeed, we do not provide your organization with new donors/funding during the Accelerator.
The Accelerator crowdfunding campaign runs from December 1, 2020, at 00:00:00 EST to December 31, 2020, at 23:59:59 EST. Use this exciting campaign to energize your donors, put your fundraising skills to the test, and win bonus prizes.
Track your organization’s progress towards the goal of raising $5,000 from 40 donors through the Accelerator Leaderboard! The leaderboard will capture all fundraising activity from the beginning to end of the campaign as well as display the bonus prize placement.
