May 17, 2018   In August 2016, a 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck central Italy. Thousands of homes and buildings were damaged or destroyed, and major infrastructure was affected. 296 people lost their lives, and more than 4,000 were displaced in the regions of Lazio, Marche, Umbria and Abruzzo. Amatrice in the province of Rieti was one of the worst hit towns. May 10, 2018   On June 1st we will inaugurate the new Leisure centre in the town of Montereale, for children of families affected by the earthquakes in 2016 and 2017. The centre’s main purpose is to be used by the school and children for recreational and afterschool activities, but it will also serve as a space for religious services and for associations. Feb 28, 2018   With the "laying of the first stone" work began on the new nursery school of Eggi (near Spoleto). This is a completely anti-seismic structure, which will be implemented by the Francesca Rava Foundation - NPH Italia Onlus, with latest generation materials and technologies and equipped with energy heating systems with reduced environmental impact. Feb 9, 2018   The small town of Montereale, situated in the Abruzzo region of central Italy, was hit in 2016 by a major earthquake. The construction of the new Leisure Center that Mission Bambini is building in Montereale (Central Italy) is at an advanced stage. The reinforced concrete plate has been completed and starting from February 12th will be mounted the wooden structure, anti-seismic, insulated and high energy saving. Nov 14, 2017   After the completion of the works, the canteen realized in Cittareale is functional and from the beginning of the school year the school children could start have lunch daily. Jul 7, 2017   On May 25th  we inaugurated the new canteen of the School in  Cittareale (Central Italy, near Rieti), a 144-sqm, anti-seismic wooden building, equipped with an industrial kitchen to produce 100 meals a day.
