Family and friends who lost loved ones in the 9/11 terror attacks answered this question by starting the Safer World Fund.
Each year the Fund supports GlobalGiving projects in Afghanistan and Pakistan that are improving access to education, economic opportunity, and health care— especially among women and girls. This helps promote greater connection and well-being among community members.
