JUNE → Welcome GlobalGiving Ambassadors: what does living generously mean to you? How does GlobalGiving play a part in that? Share your thoughts as you introduce your social network to GlobalGiving.
JULY → Pick someone who has taught you to live generously – your giving role model – and thank them with a GlobalGiving tribute card or GlobalGiving gift card! Can be a friend, family, or peer, or even someone working in the field that inspires you.
AUGUST → This month, practice generously with your influence! Pitch a story about living generosity to a blogger, media connection, or to the writer of newsletter that you receive. Include a GlobalGiving project in the pitch, one of the GlobalGiving giving tools, or talk about how that particular audience can make a difference through GlobalGiving or a GlobalGiving project.
SEPTEMBER → Let’s make sure that the 2014 holiday season is all about generosity. Think of a company you know that should be giving out GlobalGiving gift cards to employees or clients as year-end gifts. Have two coffee dates or send two letters about GlobalGiving’s gift cards to businesses in your network. (Be sure to include the sample gift cards from your welcome pack!)
OCTOBER → Now invite your friends and family to jump on the generosity train. Send an email to at least 30 people you know telling them how you’re working to live more generously, and inviting them to consider GlobalGiving’s gift cards or tribute cards for the holidays.
NOVEMBER → Forget Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this year we’re living generously. Use #GivingTuesday as a news hook for telling your networks about the GlobalGiving project that’s most meaningful to you!
DECEMBER → Choose your own final adventure! Like our gift cards? Want to talk more about a cause you’re passionate about? Finish out your season of learning to live more generously and highlight your favorite GlobalGiving feature to your friends and family.
