Providing Life Skills to 300 Girls living in Slums
The project is for training minimum 300 poor girls from slums in important life skills in Mumbai and in other districts through a resource center. They learn computer use, spoken English, photography, speech making, social networking and more. The project provides training in leadership and encourages girls' participation in community life through learning opportunities and assuring they complete school education for a productive and useful life. Mariposa Center For Girls
A 5000 sq. meter complex where poor girls can engage in sports, academic tutoring, job training, crafts, computer and library access, health resources and much more. The Mariposa Center for Girls will attract volunteers, educators and humanitarians from across the world to share knowledge on educating and empowering girls as a means to end generational poverty on a global scale. Improving Adolescent Girls Access to SRHR
GPI's weekly safe space lessons provide an opportunity for hundreds of 10-18 year old Nigerian girls to become empowered with factual information on gender, life management skills, adolescent sexuality, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Girls graduating from the three year program use the information gained to carry out social work interventions in rural communities on issues of early marriage, teenage pregnancies and FGM which have led to a reduction in these practices. project reportread updates from the field

EM-Powerful Women with Hip-Hop
Powerful Women with Hip-Hop is a project carried out in Bogota, Colombia. The project is to empower 240 girls and young women. The participants are engaged in different workshop processes using expressions of rap, break dance, dance hall, and dance afro/theater, different female leaders teach them. Send 100 Somali PastoralGirls to school in Garissa
The project will support 100 Somali Pastoral girls access education in the secondary level in the arid region of Garissa, Northern Kenya. Pastoralist Girls Initiative will pay school fees for 100 girls for 1 year, procure books, uniform, sanitary towels and pants to ease the burden of the poverty stricken families who due to harsh climatic condition and their nomadic lifestyle of moving from one place to another in search of pasture and water can not afford to send their girls to school. project reportread updates from the field
