Girl child education is one topic which must be always addressed. Illiteracy rate among children in developing countries is massive and most of the illiteracy victims are girls. The issue of Girl Child Education has been ignored by most people because of their ignorance of the importance of Education. This problem might take a century yet to come in order to solve, but various organizations are turning their attention towards Girl Child Education. This Campaign is to raise funds to cater for the welfare of school girls in Kubori; a village in the Mamprugu Moagduri District of Northern region of Ghana and to motivate them to focus on education. Most girls from the Northern region drop out of school due to the inability to pay for academic expenses and others drop out of school due to teenage pregnancies then finally get married. Some of these girls travel to other regions of Ghana to involve in hard labour in order to raise money to fund their education. Most of these girls are even the bread winners of their families. The Northern Region of Ghana is considered as one of the less privileged regions of Ghana and a lot of efforts are needed to develop the region. All contributions will be appreciated from anyone.
