Sadly, like them, the majority of cancer patients in India find it impossible to avail of comprehensive treatment for their disease. One Doctor's Efforts Led To A Foundation For Cancer Patients. It was this that prompted Dr Sameer Kaul, a renowned cancer specialist and a group of sensitive professionals from different walks of life to set up the Breast Cancer Patients Benefit Foundation (BCPBF) in September 2004. Since then, the BCPBF has been actively providing succour to financially-constrained cancer patients in India and neighbouring countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. In the interim, the BCPBF extends support and treatment to poor patients with all forms of cancer. The foundation has so far given financial help to over 300 patients for treatment, 57 patients have been helped through our Medicine Bank and 21600 patients have been screened for cancer at our free medical camps.We Need Your Support To Help More Cancer Patients The Foundation receives several heart-wrenching appeals for help every single day.
