A few years ago my dad got a bad quinine injection in a local clinic in Kampala that left his right leg paralyzed. To prevent further damage to his nerves, we had to find a wheel chair. We couldn't afford one so someone donated. He was so uncomfortable, so much we had to abandon it.
I was in Kenya this summer, part of my MBA-Global Social Sustainable Program on a different quest to do market research for a more efficient energy solution. I met Uhambo. Their cause resonated with me.
