Julian was a devoted supporter of the work of Wavecrest College with young women in Nigeria, where he knew well one of the heads of the school. Julian and his family have supported Wavecrest College through donations for the last ten years. In January Julian had arranged to spend a morning mentoring Wavecrest staff on finding creative ideas to attract more funders.
Please make a donation in honour of Julian's memory. All donations will go to WONDER Foundation's partner, Wavecrest College in Nigeria to support the education and training of young women through scholarships.
Wavecrest College of Hospitality empowers young women with technical and soft skills so they can find good employment. The young women in their vocational hospitality training programmes who started working after graduating increase their family’s income by at least 50%. The increase in their income is transformative. It gives these young women confidence and the power to plan better futures.
A gift of £67 can cover the fees for a two day marketing course.
A gift of £318 can cover the fees for a four months advanced culinary course.
A gift of £692 can cover the fees for one year of the hospitality management certification course.
