PROJECT TITLE: CIVIC RESPONCIBILITY AFRICA (CIRA) CHILDREN WELFARE FUND HISTORY/BACKGROUND: Children welfare is paramount to all world nations especially the United Nations. Many studies and research by the United Nations reveals that there are many vulnerable, trafficked and children whose rights are violated across the world especially sub- Sahara Africa and Asia. It therefore call on all local and civil society organizations to help support this all important sustainable development goals (SDG II),which includes children welfare, food security, equal and standardize level of education among children and so on. OUR MISSION: Our mission is to promote strong and selfless quality leadership and children welfare. VISION: To see Africa without poverty but opportunity and freedom for all. PROJECT AIM: This project is aimed at helping CIVIC RESPONCIBILITY AFRICA (NGO) to secure start up fund to help create a center, shelter and to promote children welfare at all level. In all we are aiming at a start up fund of about £20,000 no donation will be too small. PROJECT OBJECTIVES: The objectives of this project include the following:  To support standardize and decent primary education to deprived children in identifiable areas in Ghana.  To rehabilitate and integrate trafficked children.  To promote proper feeding and wellbeingness among deprived children.  To promote children rights and responsibilities, including moral and civic education.  Transport needs to reach areas of the victims. DESCRIPTION OF CENTER/SHELTER: THE SHELTER:  The shelter when completed will comprise of two storey building; the ground floor will be occupied by deprived and rescued children.  The first floor will serve as a state of art auditorium for conferences, workshops and to engage children for civic, moral and leadership education.  The second floor will also be occupied by youth and adolescents who are fund victims of neglect including other forms of violations and trafficking. THE CENTER:  The center however will comprise of classroom blocks from primary to junior high school.  A library complex with IT facility including offices.  A recreational center including standardize sports peach.  A well equipped canteen for food supply.  A standardize clinical center for health care services. LAND ACQUISITION: The organization has currently engaged successfully some chiefs of the local community over an acquisition of 5 acre plots of land for this project under special agreement. PROJECT BENEFITS:  This project will no doubt provide many vulnerable and deprived children with better education and good standard of living.  The project will also help the CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY AFRICA promote and fight children’s rights and welfare.  It will help see children been molded up through civic and moral education in order to become change drivers in the new generation of leadership. BENEFITS TO THE COMMUNITY/SOCIETY:  Children in the community will have access to education  They will enjoy recreational activities and be train in many sporting disciplines.  Deprived children in the community and other parts of the country will enjoy quality meal and proper health care. PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY: The project will be sustained through evaluation, reporting and maintenance. PROJET CO-ORDINATORS: The project will be supervised and co-ordinated by the project director and his team. The team shall submit written report to the chief executive director at every stage of the work for necessary recommendation by the board of directors. FUND MANAGEMENT: Management of the fund shall be done by our finance department led by finance director. They shall be expected to receive application, requisitions and valid receipts against the release of any fund. They shall also be required to generate a financial report regularly to the board of directors for review and recommendations.
