Birth in Flood Zones-Philippines
A Disaster Relief Fundraiser by Vicki Penwell

No woman should die giving life, or give birth unattended for lack of money, but that happens every day here in the Philippines, where we also have the greatest number of disaster-related deaths in the world most years; in 2012, it was 2,360 fatalities due to storms. During natural disasters the birth rate increases due to stress and other compounding factors. We must keep our birth center open, even when we are flooding too! Please donate to support safe birth care for the women in Olongapo.
