Accessibility to Safe Drinking Water

The project will work towards ensuring the pure drinking water for 250 households of the Olaro and Awicere village of Olilim in Otuke district through providing rainwater harvesting, Ponds for facilitating community based reservoirs establishment and management. The project will be implementing for 12 month primarily with the assistance of fundraisers for the relive of accessibility to safe drinking water. The key deliverables of the project are: • 33 plastic tanks for 33 households • 5 re-excavated ponds with raised embankment for reserving rain water • 5 Pond Management Committees • 4 meetings with 2 villages and local government representatives/officials • Orientation reports and picture • Pond Management Committee members selection criteria • Project Implementation Guideline • Meeting minutes with key decisions
