Hey everyone!
I hope you and your family are keeping well during this difficult time.
As you may know, I love to do a Random Act of Kindness every Tuesday by buying coffee for the person behind me at my local coffee shop. I have been doing this for the past 18 months just to make someone smile (although it usually brings me more joy than them).
Unfortunately, due to the current situation, I haven’t been able to buy coffee for anyone for nearly a month now. Whilst saving money is usually a good thing, this is one cost I don’t want to save.
As a result, I’ve decided to donate my random act of kindness fund to the Seva Mandir charity, whilst going on a 60-hour fast. Seva Mandir is a charity in India who are working to distribute food & hygiene kits to families in Southern Rajasthan.
I hope you can join me in forgoing your coffee shop change to feed a family in India instead.
I appreciate we all have our own struggles at the moment, so if you cannot donate, the intention to want to help is just as good.
The 60-hour famine will start at 10pm on Friday 17th April until 10am on Monday 20th April.
Also, please pass this on to your friends and family if you are able to. The more money we raise, the more families we feed.
