Send DC Student to Malawi to Build a School
A fundraiser by
Many DC students never have the chance to leave the country and only about 58% actually graduate. However, with the buildOn program students will gain confidence and even increase their chances of high school graduation-95% of buildOn participants graduate. Help the DC Chapter of buildOn send 6 DC students and a teacher to Malawi in the summer of 2013 to build a school for a community lacking a facility. buildOn will partner with a community to construct a sustainable, government managed school.
