As a result of the devastation from Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, and Hurricane Maria, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) granted federal Departments and agencies limited authority, until September 29, 2017, to conduct a special solicitation of federal employees for voluntary donations to help victims of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

GlobalGiving is assisting the U.S. Department of Education in providing charity options where employees can contribute to efforts that are supporting those in the disaster areas affected by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, and Hurricane Maria.

U.S. Department of Education employees can donate to make an immediate impact on these relief efforts—either in your name or anonymously.

If you decide to donate to any organizations of your choosing on your own, the recipient organizations will be very grateful.

Disaster Relief-Hurricane Harvey
Donors should care because natural disasters are not just immediate occurences--they affect lives in the long-term. Families are losing everything they have--their houses and food. Texas Diaper Bank fills the gap for an often-ignored item: diapers. Diapers impact babies, children with disabilities, and seniors.
Puerto Rico & Caribbean Hurricane Relief Fund

All donations to this fund will exclusively support any necessary hurricane relief and recovery efforts in the Caribbean.
