Very busy roads and some intolerant residents, who use high powered weapons to shoot at baboons, resulted in the deaths of at least 4 of the troop and one female has disappeared.  We have employed two teams of experienced monitors to keep the baboons off dangerous roads and out of houses for as much time as possible to reduce the conflicts.
