Bonus Day!
As part of the Accelerator Bonus Day, on September 22, 2016, individual online donations above $25 and up to $1,000 are matched at 20% through a matching grant of $10,000 offered by GlobalGiving. Details on the GlobalGiving Accelerator are available here.
Bonus Day will start at 9:00:01 EDT and end at 23:59:59 EDT on September 22, 2016.
The organization that raises the most funds on Bonus Day will receive an additional $1,000 bonus.
Also, the organization with the most unique donors on Bonus Daywill receive an additional $1,000 bonus.
Only donations of $25 or more will be matched on Bonus Day and count for the most funds raised and unique donor prizes

What is Bonus Day?
From 09:00:01 to 23:59:59 EDT on September 22, 2016, the GlobalGiving Bonus Day offers a 20% match for unique, online donations at $25 or above made on www.globalgiving.org to projects participating in the September Accelerator.
All online donations above $25 and up to $1,000 per (unique) individual donor per project made on www.globalgiving.org will be matched at 20% until the total matching grant of $10,000 is used up.
The organization that raises the most funds from 09:00:01 EDT to 23:59:59 EDT on Bonus Day will receive an additional $1,000 bonus.
Also, the organization with the most unique donors from 09:00:01 EDT to 23:59:59 EDT on Bonus Day will receive an additional $1,000 bonus.
Any donations made on co-branded sites with GlobalGiving corporate partners will not be eligible for matching funding.
The matching funds will not count towards to the $5,000 threshold for the September 2016 GlobalGiving Accelerator.

Who’s Participating
Bonus Day is open only to participants of the September 2016 Accelerator.
Accelerator participants are organizations registered as charitable and non-profit organizations in the US (501(c)3 organizations) or internationally, working in local communities, who have expressed interest in posting their projects on GlobalGiving's site. All organizations must complete a rigorous application process to qualify for the Accelerator.

Terms and Conditions
- On September 22, 2016, from 09:00:01 to 23:59:59, $10,000 of matching funds will be released. Any online, unique donation (above $25 and up to $1,000 per individual donor per project) to a project participating in the September 2016 Accelerator will be matched at 20% while matching funds remain.
- Once the $10,000 in matching funds has been allocated, no more donations will be matched.
- Donations will be matched based on the order in which they are received.
- Only donations of $25 or more, up to $1,000 per donor per project, will be matched
- Donations below $25 will be counted on the Main Leaderboard, but will not be reflected on the leaderboard below and will not be matched or counted for the bonus prizes. These donations will count towards the $5,000 and 40 donor thresholds.
- The project with the most funds raised from 09:00:01 EDT to 23:59:59 pm EDT on Bonus Day will receive an additional $1,000.
- The project with the most unique donors from 09:00:01 EDT to 23:59:59 EDT on Bonus Day will receive an additional $1,000.
- Please note that GlobalGiving maintains the right to make a final decision on all matters concerning the adjudication of unique donors and final results of the September 2016 Accelerator.
