Mission

Established in 2011, the Chile-California Council (CCC) is a binational nonprofit organization based in San Francisco under the 501(c)(3) status, that promotes mutually beneficial relationships and knowledge sharing between Chile and California in both the private and public sectors. The CCC's mission is to harness the potential of the unique relationship between California and Chile in order to bring mutual benefit to both regions. Although they are ecologically & geographically twins, California is about 50 years ahead of Chile in terms of tackling environmental issues related to preserving the coastline, marine wildlife preservation, and tackling climate change.
