Tarjimly is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2017 in response to the Syrian refugee crisis and Muslim Ban, and we provide language support for any crisis response - including the most recent Covid pandemic. Our goal is to provide language access to 1 million people in need - refugees, immigrants, health workers, lawyers, teachers, etc. - by mobilizing 1 million bilingual volunteers right from their phones. We do this by deploying our mobile app in humanitarian settings such as healthcare, social services, and legal support. The lifeblood of our platform is our translator community, which we build with employee volunteering programs. Today, we have the world's largest community of volunteer translators and interpreters available in 128 languages. We provide community interpreter training, language justice consulting, and develop products that scales volunteerism and humanitarian impact by eliminating language barriers.
